Hyper-V Shared Virtual Disk elevation of privilege in affected Microsoft Windows Server 2016–2022 builds allows local users to gain privileges. Microsoft has not published the faulty operation, code locus, or attacker-controlled input within Shared Virtual Disk processing. The attacker must already have low-privileged local access, and Microsoft has not disclosed the attained privilege level or required configuration.
