CVE-2022-29071

Login password disclosure via audit and system logs

Published Aug 5, 2022 · Updated Jun 2, 2026

Sensitive-data exposure in Arista Networks CloudVision Portal 2020.2 through 2022.1.0 allows local users to read CVP login passwords. When Advanced Login Options for Device Provisioning is enabled and a switch enable password differs from the CVP login password, CVP writes the login password into Audit and System logs. Access requires an authenticated user who can read those logs; CloudVision as-a-Service is not affected.
