Uninitialized pointer access in Fortinet FortiOS and FortiProxy allows remote attackers to crash the SSL-VPN daemon via an HTTP GET request. The sslvpnd request handler accesses an uninitialized pointer while processing the request; Fortinet has not disclosed the affected function or field. An exposed SSL-VPN HTTP interface is the network gate, and successful exploitation interrupts that daemon without reported data disclosure or modification.
