Stored XSS via unescaped parameter metadata
Published Apr 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Jenkins Node and Label parameter Plugin 1.10.3 and earlier lets remote authenticated users run scripts in another user's browser. Four Jelly views pass parameter names and descriptions to form entries without correctly escaping attacker-controlled values. Item/Configure permission is required, and execution also requires a parameter-listing page without Jenkins core's applicable XSS hardening.
