Administrator authentication bypass via login SQL injection
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Cyber Cafe Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass administrator authentication through the login form. The /ccms/index.php handler treats username and password POST parameters as SQL syntax, allowing a tautology and comment to force a successful login result. The admin panel is reachable before authentication, and successful exploitation grants administrator access without valid credentials.
