Unauthenticated file listing via unguarded SharePort pages
Published May 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper authentication in D-Link DIR-816L firmware 2.06.B01 allows remote attackers to read shared-file listings without logging in. The SharePort Web Access interface serves direct requests to /webaccess/category_view.php and /webaccess/folder_view.php without enforcing its login gate. An attacker with network access to the router web service can enumerate shared folders and categories; published evidence does not establish file modification or service interruption.
