Download without integrity checking in eight EMCO Software product updaters allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code during updates. The updater accepts downloaded code without validating its integrity and then runs the untrusted update content. Exploitation requires a user to trigger an update; successful substitution executes attacker-supplied code with the updater's privileges.
