Stored XSS via unsanitized template name
Published Jul 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 24, 2024
Stored XSS in Nokia NetAct 22 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser via a template name. The Administration of Measurements pages store the templateName parameter from /aom/html/EditTemplate.jsf and /aom/html/ViewAllTemplatesPage.jsf without neutralizing embedded JavaScript. Exploitation requires authenticated access and a victim to open a crafted link; script execution is confined to the victim's browser context.
