Unauthorized database operations via workflow DWR SQL injection
Published May 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Archibus Web Central before 26.2 allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized database operations through a DWR endpoint. The workflow.runWorkflowRule.dwr endpoint accepts injected arbitrary SQL statements that alter the syntax of queries sent to the remote database. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting database operations are not publicly characterized further.
