Camera information disclosure via authentication downgrade
Published Jul 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Authentication downgrade in Citilog 8.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to obtain HTTP access to an Axis M1125 camera. The Citilog server downgrades authentication on its server-to-camera connection, leaving the camera reachable over HTTP to an intermediary. Exploitation requires control of the network path between the server and camera, and the published impact is limited to information disclosure.
