Arbitrary filesystem write via font parsing
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Bridge 12.0.1 and earlier allows attackers to write arbitrary files after a victim opens a malicious font. Adobe identifies font parsing as the locus but has not disclosed the parsing routine, malformed field, or bounds-check failure. The CNA description instead reports code execution in the current user's context, so the two Adobe records disagree on the final impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
