Remote Code Execution via font parsing out-of-bounds write
Published May 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
An out-of-bounds write in Adobe FrameMaker 2019 Update 8 and earlier and 2020 Update 4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. The font parser writes beyond a valid memory boundary when processing crafted font data embedded in the file. Opening the file is required, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary code with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
