Code execution via out-of-bounds SVG write
Published May 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Character Animator 4.4.2 and earlier and 22.3 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious SVG file. Adobe identifies SVG parsing as the trigger but has not published the affected parser routine, malformed field, or missing bounds check. A victim must open the file, after which attacker-controlled code runs with the current user's privileges on Windows or macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
