Stored cross-site scripting in SilverStripe Framework 4.0.0 through 4.10.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via XHR-added links. The framework accepts attacker-controlled href values in link tags inserted through XMLHttpRequest without sufficient neutralization, storing a javascript URL that runs when rendered. Exploitation requires an authenticated CMS user and victim interaction with the stored link; impact is script execution in the affected web context.
