Privilege escalation in Code by Zapier before 2022-08-17 allows remote authenticated users to control other users' code runtime. The service ran each account's untrusted Python code in a shared AWS Lambda function through unrestricted exec, exposing the Lambda Runtime API. Any account role can replace imported modules, read code, inputs, and secrets, manipulate outputs, or exercise the function's privileges.
