Out-of-bounds read in Samsung Mobile Devices Q(10), R(11), and S(12) before SMR May-2022 Release 1 allows local users to interrupt service. The aviextractor library applies an improper buffer-size check before reading input, allowing a read beyond the available buffer. Reaching the flaw requires local access to input processed by the library; Samsung discloses no narrower entry point or affected process.
