Improper input validation in Samsung Settings on Android 11 and 12 allows local users to launch arbitrary activities with system privilege. The Settings component accepts an activity-launch request without validating its caller, causing the requested activity to run in the component's system context. The consequence is limited to privileged activity launch; Samsung has not disclosed the exact request or entry point.
