Root privilege escalation via resource-copy permission race

Permission race in the Zoom Client for Meetings Installer for macOS before 5.12.6 allows local users to gain root privileges during installation. The installer copies a resource before setting its permissions or access control, leaving a race window in which a low-privileged process can modify it. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and precise timing during installation, after which attacker-controlled content executes as root.
