Code execution via malicious meeting URL
Published Aug 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Improper URL parsing in desktop clients before 5.11.0 and VDI clients before 5.10.7 allows remote attackers to redirect connections. Zoom has not published the affected parser or validation error; a crafted meeting URL directs the client to an attacker-chosen network address. A user must open the malicious URL, after which follow-on attacks can launch executables from arbitrary paths and execute code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
