Stored script execution via unsanitized news text
Published Dec 19, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Lansweeper 10.1.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through altered news translations. HdConfigActions.cs passes non-English lang and langx request values into the news INSERT while applying a fifth sanitizer argument that the four-column query never consumes. Configuration access is required; the payload is stored in the database and executes in a user's browser whenever that news item is edited.
