Out-of-bounds write in Siemens Simcenter Femap before 2022.1.2 allows attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted .NEU file. The .NEU parser writes past the end of an allocated buffer while processing attacker-controlled file data. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file, and the documented consequence is information disclosure within the current process.
