Credential disclosure via sensitive log entries
Published Aug 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Sensitive information disclosure in HPE OneView before 7.0 or 6.60.01 allows local users to read external-repository credentials. When external-repository credential access is configured, the appliance records sensitive credential data in logs accessible to low-privileged accounts. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and the repository configuration, and disclosure is limited to secrets exposed by that logging path.
