CVE-2022-28622Network attack vector

Unauthorized access via weak SSH key exchange

Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Weak SSH key exchange in HPE StoreOnce Software on 3640 before 4.3.2 allows remote attackers to obtain unauthorized appliance access. The SSH server advertises and accepts weak key-exchange algorithms, but HPE does not identify the algorithms or cryptographic failure. Reachability requires network access to SSH and a high-complexity attack; HPE reports limited confidentiality loss without integrity or availability impact.
