Stored script execution via unsanitized page titles
Published May 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Pixelimity 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary scripts through a crafted page title. The admin/pages.php add-new handler stores the Title value without neutralizing embedded HTML or script before rendering the saved page. Administrator access is required to publish the payload, and another user's browser must render the saved title; the script then reads or alters data available to that browser context.
