Command injection in D-Link DIR-823-Pro 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands through an HNAP request. The SetNTPServerSettings handler accepts shell substitution syntax in system_time_timezone, as demonstrated by a payload that writes command output into the web root. Exploitation reaches the router over the network and grants command execution with the service's privileges; public material does not establish Internet exposure.
