Arbitrary command execution via setsambacfg injection
Published May 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in Tenda AC15 firmware 15.03.05.20 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands through its web interface. The public exploit write-up identifies /goform/setsambacfg as the vulnerable handler but does not disclose the injected field or command-building operation. Network reachability to the device interface is sufficient, and chaining CVE-2021-44971 removes remaining execution conditions.
