Cross-site scripting in MantisBT before 2.25.2 allows remote attackers to execute code in a user's browser via a crafted return parameter. browser_search_plugin.php writes the return parameter into a hidden input field without output escaping, allowing injected markup to escape the attribute context. Exploitation requires user interaction, and successful code executes with the affected user's MantisBT browser privileges.
