Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped sort parameter
Published May 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through a crafted log-list sort field. LogController.list appends the form.orderColumn value directly to an ORDER BY clause without quoting, escaping, or allowlist validation. Administrator access to /jfinal_cms/system/log/list is required, and successful injection executes attacker-controlled SQL expressions in the application's database context.
