Reflected XSS via unescaped update-page input
Published Apr 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in Limbas 4.3.36.1319 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a victim's browser via a crafted request. The UPDATE/up_2_0.php page places attacker-controlled request content into its HTML response without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires a victim to load the crafted response, after which the injected script runs in the Limbas origin and can read or alter browser-accessible application data.
