Authenticated database disclosure via posts search injection
Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Baby Care System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the posts search endpoint. The posts search passes the find GET parameter into MySQL query evaluation without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based injection. Access to the administrative interface and a valid PHP session are required; the published proof of concept demonstrates database-name disclosure.
