CVE-2022-28416Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SQL injection via unsanitized deletion identifier

Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

SQL injection in Home Owners Collection Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute database queries through a deletion action. The cited proof of concept shows Master.php's delete_category action passing the POST id value into a MySQL query without neutralization, while the CVE record names delete_phase. NVD scores the flaw as unauthenticated, but the proof-of-concept request carries a PHP session cookie and an administrator-page referrer; successful injection can read or modify data within the application's database privileges.
