SQL injection via unescaped agent ID
Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Real Estate Portal System v1.0 allows attackers to alter database queries through the admin agent-management id parameter. The GET id value at /reps/admin/?page=agents/manage_agent&id= is accepted as SQL syntax, enabling boolean, time-based, and UNION-based injection rather than being safely parameterized. The record does not establish an authentication requirement; exploitation reaches the web application endpoint and can expose or modify database information.
