DNS redirection via public-TLD namespace collision

DNS redirection in CoreDNS Kubernetes deployments allows attackers to route public-domain lookups to attacker-controlled Services. Kubernetes search-path expansion tries names without trailing dots beneath cluster search suffixes, and a Service in a namespace named for a public TLD takes precedence over public DNS. The attacker needs permission to create the namespace and Service, and a workload must query the target name without a trailing dot.
