User-context code execution via malicious file parsing
Published May 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Photoshop 22.5.6 and 23.2.2 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe identifies the defect as an out-of-bounds write but has not published the affected parser, file format, or incorrect memory operation. Exploitation requires the current user to open the file, after which attacker-controlled code runs with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
