Sensitive memory disclosure via annotation parsing
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 22.001.20085 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious PDF. Annotation-object handling fails to validate attacker-supplied data before reading past an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file or visit a malicious page; the leak can aid ASLR bypass and code execution when chained with other flaws.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
