Memory disclosure via crafted file parsing
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC through version 22.001.2011x and earlier allows attackers to disclose process memory via a crafted file. The parser reads past the end of an allocated memory structure when processing malicious file contents. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and Adobe describes the impact as a memory leak that can bypass mitigations such as ASLR without documented integrity or availability effects.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
