Information disclosure via Annotation object over-read
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in affected Adobe Acrobat Reader releases allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted PDF. JavaScript actions on an Annotation object make the parser read beyond the end of that allocated object. Exploitation requires a target to visit a malicious page or open the file; the disclosed address data is usable to defeat ASLR in a separate exploit chain.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
