Information disclosure via Annotation object over-read
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Annotation handling in Adobe Acrobat Reader allows attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted PDF file. JavaScript actions on a malformed Annotation object cause the parser to read past the end of that allocated object. A victim must visit a malicious page or open the file; the disclosure can expose address data that bypasses ASLR and supports a separate code-execution flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
