Memory disclosure via annotation parser out-of-bounds read
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 22.001.20085 and earlier allows attackers to disclose memory via a crafted PDF. The annotation parser reads beyond the end of an allocated memory structure while processing attacker-controlled file content. Exploitation requires a victim to open the malicious file, exposing memory that can help bypass ASLR.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
