Memory disclosure via out-of-bounds file parsing
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in affected Adobe Acrobat Reader DC releases allows attackers to disclose memory through a crafted file opened by a victim. The file parser reads past the end of an allocated memory structure while processing attacker-controlled file data. A victim must open the file; the disclosure can reveal process-memory layout information that helps bypass ASLR, with no reported write or code-execution capability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
