Memory disclosure via unchecked Doc object bounds
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader 22.001.20085 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose memory via a crafted file. The Doc object parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated object, exposing process memory and ASLR-related data. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file or visit a malicious page; affected Classic 2020 and 2017 builds run on Windows and macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
