Code execution via crafted PDF memory corruption

Memory corruption in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 22.001.20085 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a crafted PDF file. The CNA description attributes the flaw to a heap-based buffer overflow during PDF handling, while Adobe maps the same identifier to use-after-free without naming a narrower code locus. Execution requires a user to open the file and runs in that user's security context on Windows or macOS.
