Information disclosure via collab object use-after-free
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2026
Use-after-free in affected Adobe Acrobat Reader releases allows attackers to disclose sensitive information via a malicious file or page. The collab-object handler performs operations without first validating that the referenced object still exists, causing access to freed memory. A victim must open a malicious file or visit a malicious page; code execution in the current process requires chaining with another vulnerability, and affected versions extend through 22.001.20085, Windows 20.005.30314, macOS 20.005.30311, and 17.012.30205.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
