Code execution via unchecked object use in calculateNow
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Use-after-free in Acrobat Reader's AcroForm processing allows remote attackers to execute code when a malicious PDF is opened. The calculateNow function operates on an object without first confirming that the object still exists, leaving stale memory accessible. Exploitation requires user interaction to open the crafted file and runs code in the context of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
