Personal-information disclosure via insufficient URL validation
Published Apr 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Open redirect in SAP NetWeaver ABAP Server and ABAP Platform 740, 750, and 787 allows remote attackers to redirect users to malicious sites. The BC-MID-ICF component accepts an attacker-controlled destination without sufficient URL validation, but SAP's public material does not identify the affected endpoint or parameter. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to follow the crafted link, enabling phishing-driven disclosure of personal information without reported integrity or availability impact.
