NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows allows remote authenticated users to execute code via an out-of-bounds write in a crafted shader. The nvwgf2um/x.dll DirectX11 user-mode driver writes beyond a buffer boundary while processing attacker-controlled shader data. Network access with low privileges is required; successful exploitation can also crash services, expose information, escalate privileges, or tamper with data.
