Unauthorized resource access via server-side RBAC omission
Published May 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper authorization in Broadcom Brocade SANnav before 2.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to access unauthorized resources. The RBAC request-processing path fails to verify that the requesting account has the permission required for each server-side operation. A valid low-privilege account can cross its assigned authorization boundary to read protected resources and perform otherwise forbidden management actions.
