Man-in-the-middle access via global TLS validation disablement
Published Mar 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper certificate validation in Jenkins Proxmox Plugin 0.6.0 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or alter TLS traffic. The Proxmox connection test applies an all-trusting certificate policy as the default for the entire controller JVM instead of scoping it to that connection. Exploitation requires the ignore-SSL option to be enabled and a network position that permits interception of HTTPS traffic from the controller.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
