Unauthorized consumer management via missing permission checks
Published Mar 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Jenkins Bitbucket Server Integration Plugin 3.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to manage OAuth consumers. Several consumer-management HTTP endpoints omit permission checks and accept create, view, and delete operations from any account with Overall/Read. This low-privilege access exposes consumer details and permits unauthorized configuration changes, including consumer deletion.
