Arbitrary server requests via unvalidated feed URLs
Published Apr 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SSRF in the feed_parser class of Navigate CMS 2.9.4 allows remote authenticated users to make the server request arbitrary URLs. feed_parser passes the attacker-controlled feed URL to outbound request handling without a host allowlist or strict HTTP(S) URL validation. High-privilege CMS access is required, and the resulting request can reach internal or external resources accessible to the server.
